My ServiceS

Every story’s path is different—and so is every writer’s.

Whether you’re polishing a finished draft or still shaping your vision, editing should meet you where you are.

Below, you’ll find the different ways I support fiction writers—each designed to meet you where you are and help you move forward with clarity and care.

So pull up a chair, grab your favorite mug, and let’s find the right next step for your story.

Editing isn’t a one-size-fits-all process.

Every story has its own voice, rhythm, and needs—and your editing experience should respect that.

My goal is to offer thoughtful, supportive feedback that brings clarity to your work and the revision process.

FAQ

Questions are part of the editing process. Here are a few common ones authors ask before getting started.

You don’t have to know—that’s part of my job. If you’re unsure, tell me where you are in the process and what you want help with. I’ll recommend the option that makes the most sense for your manuscript.

Yes. I offer free sample edits for most services so you can get a feel for my approach before committing. For developmental services, samples are typically based on an opening chapter and may not reflect the entire manuscript.

I work primarily with fiction, including fantasy, romance, soft sci-fi, historical fiction, women’s fiction, and related subgenres. If you’re unsure whether your project is a fit, just ask!

Timelines vary depending on the service, manuscript length, and my availability. I’ll always give you a clear estimate before we begin so there are no surprises.

You can typically expect a developmental edit to take 4 to 8 weeks, and a copyedit to take 3 to 6 weeks.

No manuscript is ever truly error-free—editors are humans too—but I do promise a careful, thorough edit and clear communication about what I’m checking and why.

If working together feels like the right fit, I’m happy to talk through options, including payment plans or alternative services that still move your manuscript forward.
